Heritage Research is a fashion brand that sells high-quality clothing inspired by "heritage" pieces from the work-wear, military uniforms, outdoor gear, and peasant clothing of the past. The brand has been available in Japan for some time but entered the UK market in 2009.

The clothes are handmade in England from high-end Japanese and British fabrics, using traditional British tailoring methods. While the clothes are inspired by vintage pieces, they are updated with modern silhouettes and durable, natural textiles. Details like leather bindings and trims, military-grade Swiss RiRi zippers, and horn buttons help the brand achieve the perfect balance between vintage styling and modern trends.

The Heritage Research Spring/Summer 2011 collection is inspired by the post-WWII American look, with design cues taken from the "hot rod" car clubs and surf culture of 1940s California as well as the combination of military and Ivy League basics like chino pants and Oxford shirts.

Current offerings from Heritage Research include 1940s semi-brogue shoes, '40s style racing sweaters and Ivy League sweater vests, Oxford and car club button down shirts, Chino pants, and both Ivy League shorts and board shorts. Outerwear includes parkas, rugged work-wear inspired coats, and a brown leather motorcycle jacket.
